Youth International Challenge Cup, YICC for short, founded in 2018. youth international football challenge cup aims to improve the level of youth football, promote football communication between domestic and abroad, and provide a better development platform for excellent football youngsters in the competition. The youth international football challenge cup (YICC) aims to build the best international brand competition in China and create a high-level platform for Chinese football youth.

The first YICC was held in Shanghai in August 2018, with a total of eight teams participating. Including Wolves from England, Juventus from Italy, Benfica from Portugal, Atletico Sao Paulo from Brazil, Kashima antlers from Japan, Ulsan hyundai from South Korea, and domestic teams, Shanghai lucky star and Shanghai shenhua. Benfica eventually won the first YICC champion.
